Preliminary Irish Competition Results

The Preliminary Irish Competition, to select the Irish pianists to take part in the 2018 Dublin International Piano Competition, took place on Wednesday, 20th December, in the Kevin Barry Room of the NCH. After a full day of outstanding performances by 13 competitors the jury selected 6 pianists to proceed to the competition this May.

Dublin International Piano Competition is an approved body under the terms of Section 848A of the 1997 Taxes Consolidation Act, whereby donations in between €250 and €1,000,000 per annum are eligible for tax relief. Such relief accruing to the Competition.
